5/12/22 One last, quick hike for the day out to Redwood Creek. A flat hike with beautiful green foliage.
1Just down the road aways we find another short trail we can get in before heading down to Eureka. We have just enough time to get in one more short hike in the area, so we head to the Redwood Creek Trail.
2 The trail is a little too wide and well groomed, but the gorgeous flourescent green foliage more than makes up for it.
3 Made it to the banks of Redwood Creek.
4Redwood Creek has been greatly effected by the earlier logging days but is slowly recovering. Dad's photo of me at the creek.
5We near the trailhead at 6:30 and I'm getting hungry ... how about a steelhead dinner in Eureka? Heading back now just before dark. We drive in to Eureka for the night and have a delicious Steelhead Trout dinner.
