4/10/22 My fourth or fifth time doing the Silverado Foot Race and Dr. Rock's first. 6.5 miles and almost 3,000' of gain on some steep and occasionaly gnarly trail. Lots of fun!
1 The wildflowers are starting to come out in force.
2 Everything was surprisingly green after fires devastated much of this area last year.
3 A little overgrown in places. Perfect.
4 A beautiful day.
5 Great views.
6 This trail was definitely a quad buster, both uphill and downhill.
7 The uphill got really steep in places.
8 A short section of trail here was pretty much gone. Dr. Rock loves this sort of terrain!

12 Almost to the end. The top runners finished long ago, but at least we weren't last!
