Great Smoky Mountains National Park

A trip to South Carolina gave me a chance to detour out to Tennessee to visit Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Three great days in and around the park including Cades Cove, Sugarlands, Tuckaleechee Caverns, and Dupont State Park.

Day 1- Cades Cove

6/29/18 The first day in the Smokies was in the Cades Cove area of the park including a drive around the loop and hikes to Abrahms Falls and Gregory Bald.

Day 2- Sugarlands

6/30/18 The second day in the park was in the Sugarlands area including hikes to Charlies Bunion and Mount LeConte.

Day 3- Tuckaleechee and Dupont

7/1/18 The third day was a travel day as I headed out of the park and stopped for a tour of Tuckaleechee Caverns in Townsend, Tennessee and then Dupont State Forest in North Carolina.
